Alan D started singing soon after his
first breath. He took up the saxophone and flute a little later, and wonderful music has
been happening ever since! Alan lived in Italy, and studied throughout Europe. Returning
to the United States, he graduated from Florida State University in 1985. Alan then
received a full music scholarship and began studying with Jim Burge in Tampa Florida.
For over a decade, Alan has performed
at hundreds of weddings, corporate functions, private parties and fundraisers. He
was also the featured entertainer at the famous Gianni's in the SoHo section of Tampa for
over 4 years.

Notable Performances Include:
Jazz Club 442, The Jazz Cellar, The
Riverfront Jazz Fest, The Biltmore Hotel of Coral Gables, The Delano in South Beach
(Miami), The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Dade City Jazz Fest, The Historic Tampa
Theater.
"Artists in the Schools" -
Since 1989 Alan has been teaching music and art workshops through Hillsborough County
Florida's "Artist in Schools" program.
"From The Heart" - In 1996
Alan released his first independent CD. The album is a combination of cover tunes
and original compositions ranging from jazz to blues to pop.

Extra Concert Series - Alan D and Denise Moore Live", "Up-Front",
"Jack Harris & Company LIVE" and "Good Day Tampa Bay" on Fox
Channel 13.
Radio appearances/airplay - WMNF 88.5
and WSJT 94.1 - Smooth Jazz (Recorded and performed for morning show).

Master of Ceremonies: Alan is
also sought after for his entertaining and professional MC abilities. He has MC'd at
many functions including Tampa's Santa Fest Parade and International Festival.
