WE DO NOT USE: Acrylic paint. Some facepainters use acrylics in their work. Unfortunately, acrylics release small amounts of formaldehyde in their drying process, which can result in allergic reactions in those painted. Acrylics also contain a polymer (form of plastic), which is unhealthy for the skin. Craft glitter.. Craft glitter is made from ground metal or plastic and can easily scratch the cornea of the eye. Inexpensive face paint found in craft stores. Most face paints that can be found in local craft stores and pharmacies contain warnings restricting use of certain colors near eyes or mouths. The reason for this is because they contain colors which are restricted by the FDA for use in those areas because they can stain the skin. They also recommend a "patch" test before use because they contain chemicals which may cause reactions in some people.

WE ONLY USE the highest quality professional theatrical make-up. Our make up is completely approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use on all areas of the skin. Water soluble, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic, our make up provides excellent coverage for a professional look. The make-up we use is professional make-up serving theater, film, and television around the globe for more than 50 years.Our glitter is made from eye-friendly material, especially for facepainting, and contains no sharp edges.
