Lil’ Ricki and the Licorice Sticks – A 10 piece dance band covering great artists of the past including Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Ella Fitzgerald. From the classic swing hits of the 30’s and 40’s, to the new swing sound of today by artists like Brian Setzer, Swingerhead and Louis Prima, Lil’ Ricki and the Licorice Sticks can cover all swing genres.  They are a local favorite here in Orlando, and a highly sought-after group on the “swing circuit”. Instrumentation includes 3 saxes (clarinet/flute), 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, string/electric bass or tuba, marimba/vibes or piano, percussion and female vocalist (optional 11 piece). Additional instrumentation such as violins may be added at the client’s request. From blues to swing, cha cha to salsa, Li’l Ricki and the Licorice Sticks has got your number!
