performance.
His professional
experience is distinguished and diverse. As a club DJ, he has mixed in New York City at
the Red Zone, Mars, Limelight, Supper Club, Expo, USA and The Palladium. Washington D.C.’s
Fifth Column, Detroit’s Industry, Miami’s Warsaw, Atlanta’s The Dance Club
and New Jersey’s Zanzibar have also been privy to his talents.
He has also played
at private parties for a celebrity "Who's who?" entourage, including Jean Claude
Van Damme in Miami; the artist formerly known as Prince at the Glam Slam, Prince’s
club in Minneapolis; Fashion Cafe’s Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer
and Cristy Turlington; Motown Café in New York City for Bruce Springsteen, Boyz 2 Men,
Ivana Trump, Sarah the Duchess of York, Backstreet Boys and this last New Year’s Eve
with Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. He is also one of the current favorites at The
World's Largest Theme Park.
As a mobile DJ, he
has performed at numerous weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, high school proms, homecomings and
corporate events. Clients include Banco Banamex in NYC, Gap and Gap Kids, Columbia Dental
School, ESPN 2, Time Warner, Estee Lauder, Mariott Hotel in NYC and Barnett Bank
President’s Club, just to name a few.
Formerly a Club MTV
dancer, Niekko uses his dancing experience as needed to get the crowd excited and
involved. He is also a lively and personable MC, with interactive skills appropriate for
all ages.
His DJ format is
diverse, being just as comfortable playing Rock, Pop, R & B, House and Classics as he
is playing 70’s Disco, Funk, Jazz, Techno, Industrial, Reggae, Rap, Jazz, Classical,
Salsa, Merengue and Country.
