A very authentic strolling Caribbean band featuring three to seven musicians. Traditional music from the islands, Calypso and Mento, together with popular contemporary melodies played in a Caribbean style are typical of their repertoire. Participation is a must with conga lines and sing-a-longs like Marianne, Matilda and Day-O. Dress style is Caribbean, complete with straw hats and Pan-around-the-neck (steel drums). This is the easiest type of entertainment to book, as it requires no power or technical support. They can perform in the most remote and intimate settings. Great as an opening act for general sessions, with whistles and bells and optional dancing girls.
