UPBEAT is a four-piece band consisting of Amado on lead vocals and keyboards, Antone
Affronti on drums and percussion, Dan Emerson on bass guitar, and Rick Fernandes on
acoustic and electric guitars. Each of UPBEAT's members has played hundreds of
performances over decades of professional playing experience. The band plays a high-energy
mix of popular songs from many genres of music - Jazz, Pop, Blues, Classic R&B, and
Rock. UPBEAT tailors its song selection, volume, and even dress to the venue, time of day,
and the audience in attendance. The band projects a professional image, while at the same
time delivering an infectious, fun performance.
